Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This page explains what information Université Internationale Clairefontaine collects when you enquire about its programmes, what we do with it, and how you stay in control of it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Data controller
Université Internationale Clairefontaine (UICF)
Address
Cocody II Plateaux Vallon, Ghana Embassy street, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire
Email
info@uicf.edu.ci
Phone
+225 01 01 14 14 05

For any question about this policy or about your data, write to info@uicf.edu.ci with « personal data » as the subject.

2. What we collect, and when

We collect nothing without your knowledge: every piece of information comes from a form you filled in or a message you sent us.

Google ad form
your name, phone number, email, city, and your answers to the questions in the ad. That form is displayed and hosted by Google, which passes your answers on to us.
Form on our website
your name, phone number, email and the programme you are interested in.
Conversation with our assistant
the content of your messages, plus your WhatsApp number or Messenger ID and profile name, depending on the channel you write from.
Detailed guidance form
your date of birth, city, BAC stream and year, your average, your secondary school, the programme you are aiming for — and your parent or guardian's contact details if you are a minor.
Meeting an adviser
the same information, entered by the adviser from what you tell them, at a fair or during a call.
Following up your application
notes from our exchanges, the stage your application has reached, and the adviser looking after you.

Only your phone number is genuinely required: it is what lets us call you back. Everything else is optional, and an incomplete file costs you nothing.

3. What this information is used for

Your information is used for nothing else. In particular, we do not use it to target you with advertising, and we pass it to no advertising network.

4. Our legal basis: your consent

We process your data because you asked us to get back to you — by ticking the consent box on our form, by submitting the form in one of our adverts, or by writing to us directly.

You can withdraw that consent at any time, without having to give a reason, and without it changing anything in how your application is considered (see §10).

5. If you are under 18

Our programmes are aimed at school leavers, some of whom are minors. If your date of birth shows you are under 18, our form requires your parent or guardian's name and phone number: they are the ones who consent, and the ones with whom we confirm any binding discussion.

A parent or guardian may at any time ask to see, correct or delete their child's information by writing to info@uicf.edu.ci.

6. The priority score

So that we call back first the applicants who are waiting for an answer, our tool automatically works out a score from 0 to 100 based on what you told us: the programme you are aiming for, your questions about enrolling, your BAC stream, your city, and how long ago we last spoke.

That score only decides who our team calls first. It decides nothing about your admission — that is reviewed by people, on your file. It is shared with no third party, and you may ask to see how it was worked out and to have it corrected.

7. Who else sees your data

Our advisers, each with their own account. And, for the technical side of our exchanges, the following providers — only for what they need:

Meta (WhatsApp, Messenger)
if you write to us on WhatsApp or Messenger, your messages pass through Meta, under its own terms.
Google (Google Ads)
if you fill in the form in one of our adverts, Google collects it and passes it on to us.
MovaSMS
our SMS provider receives your number and the text of the message sent to you.
DigitalOcean
the language model that writes our assistant's replies is hosted there: the content of your conversation is sent to it to produce the reply. No other part of your file is shared with it.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data with anyone.

8. Where your data is stored

Our servers and those of our technical providers are located outside Côte d'Ivoire. Your data travels there over encrypted connections, and the providers listed in §7 are bound to use it only for the service they provide to us.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your file for as long as it serves to support you in choosing your path, and then for as long as needed to follow your studies if you enrol.

You may ask us to delete your data at any time (see §10): we do so within thirty days, except for what the law requires us to keep.

10. Your rights, and how to exercise them

Ivorian law no. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data gives you the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@uicf.edu.ci or call +225 01 01 14 14 05. Someone on the team handles your request — there is no form to fill in. We answer within thirty days.

11. How we protect it

12. Cookies and analytics

Our site sets only the cookies strictly needed to work: the one protecting our forms against fraud, and the one remembering your conversation with the assistant for the duration of your visit.

We use no analytics tool, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker. Nothing to accept or refuse, hence no cookie banner.

13. Complaints

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications de Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI), which oversees personal data protection: www.artci.ci.

14. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. Any change that would widen how your data is used will be told to you directly, and your consent asked again.
